So there you go. All up to date and visually stimulated I hope. :)
Things are fine here.
Stuwiggle is working as per usual (though he is working all weekend this weekend which is sucky) and spent the morning playing golf with a friend of ours (Mr Snakey).
Sebastian is growing up so quickly it is amazing to see. He is still just loving kindy and I think he is going to really be ready for, and enjoy school next year.
I have been studying my behind off at college/TAFE. I've had my first exam of the term on Thursday and there are many exams between now and the mid-year break.
I have been extremely slack with my letter writing, (just finding the time to sit down and write/type when I actually have a functioning brain is tricky at the moment), but rest assured that if I owe you a letter (especially you Sarah E from WI) it will be winging it's way to you as soon possible.
So there you go, a few pics to show you my recent sewing projects.
Expect another post very with more photos because I am in that kind of mood.

Things have been pretty hectic in my life regarding my studies. It's coming up to the end of the term (only 3 days to go! Pity about the two major exams in those 3 days) so there have been assignments to complete, exams to study for and other class mates to avoid (so I can study in peace).
I've been working my proverbial off and it's paying off. In my last two accounting exams I scored 96% and 98% with an equally high result expected in the one I did last week. It's not as easy as it seems I assure you and most nights finds me working hard at my desk, memorising and cementing what ever it is that I have learned that day.
As I mentioned above, I have two more exams this week before I am FREE (for the holidays). One is a *very* scary Law exam (worth 50% of my class mark or something like that) and yet another accounting exam. I'm not feeing especially confident about either but there is a couple of days left to cram more stuff into my head before having to prove I've learned what I need to have learned.
In other news, Sebastian is well and loving kindy still. Stuwiggle is also well and is doing the work thing as per usual.
My dear friend Fire is coming over from the UK to visit in just a few days and although he is here for a dissapointingly short time it will be wonderful to see him again and show him the sights (as he has never been to Australia before).
Well that's all,..just a brief note to let you all know that I am still alive and kicking (just).

Hey all.
Yes I am still around, and I'm still keeping up with all your posts, just not making very many myself.
Things at TAFE have been good and I'm working hard.
Sebastian had his fourth birthday (and party) this weekend which was brilliant. He is growing up sooo quickly.
Stuwiggle is still well as usual and all my friends and family are also well.
That's it I think...

I found a (singular) head lice in Sebastian's hair this morning before kindy! I got rid of it and checked the rest of his hair before sending him off to kindy. I let the teachers know so they can alert the other parents as I know that Sebastian picked up the lice from one of the other kids there. Since getting home from dropping Sebastian off I have stripped all the bedding from our beds and started washing. I have washed (in hot water) all the sheets, towels, mattress protectors/underlays, pillow protectors, plush toys and boiled all our hair brushes and ties. With any luck this will prevent the lice from continuing their life cycle and protect Stu and I from them. I have checked both of our hair and we are lice free (thank goodness - can you imagine getting a super fine nit comb through Stu's thick, curly hair!!!???) So that has been my morning thus far. Thankfully the weather is fine today so I can hang most of the washing on the line (though the toys have gone in the clothes dryer).

Hey everyone.
Well, after a week of anticipation it has happened. My internet at home has finally switched off and the switch over to the new "naked broadband" has begun. Thankfully we still have our home 'phone working though I don't know for how long. Yay for mobiles I say!
So I am restricted to checking email and LJ at my girlfriend's house or (more often) here at the library.
Nothing my been going on. Sebastian's op is still planned for the 30th. With any luck it will actually happen this time and will be over and done with by February.
That's if for now... I am still reading your posts just not commenting much as I only have an hour to do everything on line. :)
Bye for now.

Hey everyone,
Just a quick note to let you all know that I won't have home phone or internet access for a few weeks while we sort out a new internet/phone plan. With any luck I will be back online at home within 3-4 weeks.
We still have our mobile phones if you need to get ahold of either Stuwiggle or I and emails will get through as well (Stuwiggle can check his at work and I will be able to check mine at a mate's place and the library a couple of times a week). Of course all snail mail will be answered as per usual. :)
Have fun guys!

10 Things that made me happy this month:
1. Talking with
2. Spending the weekend with
3. Having incredible nookie with
4. Receiving lots of letters from pen-pals in the post.
5. Getting my results for last year's study - I passed with DISTINCTION!
6. Getting accepted into the Adv. Dip of Accounting for this year.
7. My dear friend Bel arriving back in the country after her overseas holiday.
8. Finding a really funky and cheap Sri Lankin restaraunt just down the road.
9. Having a quiet lunch with stuwiggle at afore mentioned restaraunt.
10. Buying new computer games and playing them for hours while Sebastian is at kindy!
10 things which were not so happy-making this month:
1. Finding out that Sebastian is gong to to need surgery to fix his hernia.
2. Finding out that surgery is schedualed for this Wednesday.
3. Not saving my game often enough and the system crashing, meaning I lose the past hour's game play. Grrr...
4. My dear friend S, from the US having her heart broken by an absolute prick of a man.
5. Stu having to work over Xmas & NYE.
6. Blowing money on shite (take away food mostly) when I should be saving for April then feeling guilty about it afterwards.
7. Gaining weight.
8. Being so physically far from my best friend
9. Being bored brainless by total inactivity and having to wait until February 14 to start doing stuff again!
10. Buying a wonderful possum fur and sheep skin hat from NZ via mail order and finding that it is a little bit too big but I can't afford to buy the next size down. :(
He has become increasingly snappy over the past 12 months and last night he actually attacked Xander (who shares an enclosure with him). So I can't keep them together anymore and I can't afford to buy a new enclosure to keep him seperatly.
So if anyone wants to buy a slightly snappy, adult male Childreni python please let me know! He will likely settle down and be less snappy with more regular handling (and once he is in your hands he is very placid) and would make a good pet as well as a breeding snake.
He is an excellent feeder (1 adult mouse every 3-4 weeks), sheds regulally and without any problems. Very active during the warmer months (great fun to watch!).
I'll include a 50lt plastic "click-clack" enclosure, 2 x cardboard "hides", heat mat, probe (to monitor the heat) and thermostat, water bowl, shedding rock...basically everything you need to keep him happy for free
I am looking to sell him for about $200 but I will consider any reasonable offer.
Obviously you will need to live somewhere close by enough to pick him up (I'm in Western Sydney), have a reptile licence and be willing to take good care of him.

I have spent the day writing letters to people, watching Sebastian play with his new toys and waiting for Stu to wake up so I can have some adult company. *Sniff* Yes I am feeling sorry for myself dammit! And why not!? I can hear all my neighbours having parties, I can smell BBQs and here I am feeling pathetic and alone. I have Xmas music on the radio, every TV station is extolling the virtues of celebrating this festive day with family and friends and I am going insane with boredom and isolation.
We did spend the weekend previous with my family so I shouldn't really be complaining I know. There are people in the world who have no family at all or even enough to eat. I know all of this but I am still in a funk. :( figure that this time of year is supposed to be all about self-indulgence (amongst other things) so I'm going to indulge my self-pity for just one day.
Bah Humbug says I...but I do hope that everyone else is having a good day. Sorry for the whine.

Question: How many legs are in the bus?
The number of legs will be your password for the attachment. (link below)
If you succeed in opening the file make sure you write your name.
That will prove you did your math correctly.

Anyway the land lord promised to call a roofing guy to fix the tiles and said he would also send someone around to get a quote for the pergola.
At 2:30pm I got a call from the roof tiler and he came over. He was a really lovely chap and we had a good chat (I even sent him home with some fresh garden produce!) He fixed the two smashed roof tiles and sussed out the pergola. He is giving the quote to the land lord tomorrow.
I told the land lord that there was no rush for the repairs/replacement for the pergola as it is only an inconveniance but the roof tiles could become a big problem if we got more rain (which we did just after the tiler guy replaced them). So I guess I will have to wait and see when the land lord is going to organise the pergola - he did say he would try for before xmas but that was before he got the $3000-4000 quote so I think it will be in the new year.
All in all I am well satisfied with the real estates and land lord's prompt action.
We are all fine here (we stayed inside and watched from through the windows (the protected ones...not the ones likely to get smashed in!) Our pergola suffered some pretty serious damage and now when it rains it will act less like a roof and more like a sieve! Also we have at least one severely cracked roof tile (I can clearly see the sky through the 1cm + gap!) I will be calling the estate agent first thing tomorrow morning to see about getting things repaired.
Anyway here are some photos I took immediatly after the storm had passed (I was not so desperate to get good photos to risk braining myself by going out during it!)
