I know i haven't been posting much lately. Please know that i am still keeping up to date reading my friend's list.

Things have been pretty hectic in my life regarding my studies. It's coming up to the end of the term (only 3 days to go! Pity about the two major exams in those 3 days) so there have been assignments to complete, exams to study for and other class mates to avoid (so I can study in peace).

I've been working my proverbial off and it's paying off. In my last two accounting exams I scored 96% and 98% with an equally high result expected in the one I did last week. It's not as easy as it seems I assure you and most nights finds me working hard at my desk, memorising and cementing what ever it is that I have learned that day.

As I mentioned above, I have two more exams this week before I am FREE (for the holidays). One is a *very* scary Law exam (worth 50% of my class mark or something like that) and yet another accounting exam. I'm not feeing especially confident about either but there is a couple of days left to cram more stuff into my head before having to prove I've learned what I need to have learned.

In other news, Sebastian is well and loving kindy still. Stuwiggle is also well and is doing the work thing as per usual.

My dear friend Fire is coming over from the UK to visit in just a few days and although he is here for a dissapointingly short time it will be wonderful to see him again and show him the sights (as he has never been to Australia before).

Well that's all,..just a brief note to let you all know that I am still alive and kicking (just).

Update...

Hey all.

Yes I am still around, and I'm still keeping up with all your posts, just not making very many myself.

Things at TAFE have been good and I'm working hard.

Sebastian had his fourth birthday (and party) this weekend which was brilliant. He is growing up sooo quickly.

Stuwiggle is still well as usual and all my friends and family are also well.

That's it I think...

NITS!!!!

I have been super duper busy so far this morning.

I found a (singular) head lice in Sebastian's hair this morning before kindy! I got rid of it and checked the rest of his hair before sending him off to kindy. I let the teachers know so they can alert the other parents as I know that Sebastian picked up the lice from one of the other kids there. Since getting home from dropping Sebastian off I have stripped all the bedding from our beds and started washing. I have washed (in hot water) all the sheets, towels, mattress protectors/underlays, pillow protectors, plush toys and boiled all our hair brushes and ties. With any luck this will prevent the lice from continuing their life cycle and protect Stu and I from them. I have checked both of our hair and we are lice free (thank goodness - can you imagine getting a super fine nit comb through Stu's thick, curly hair!!!???) So that has been my morning thus far. Thankfully the weather is fine today so I can hang most of the washing on the line (though the toys have gone in the clothes dryer).

Gone but not forgotten

Hey everyone.

Well, after a week of anticipation it has happened. My internet at home has finally switched off and the switch over to the new  "naked broadband" has begun. Thankfully we still have our home 'phone working though I don't know for how long. Yay for mobiles I say!

So I am restricted to checking email and LJ at my girlfriend's house or (more often) here at the library.

Nothing my been going on. Sebastian's op is still planned for the 30th. With any luck it will actually happen this time and will be over and done with by February.

That's if for now... I am still reading your posts just not commenting much as I only have an hour to do everything on line. :)

Bye for now.

Away for a while...

Hey everyone,

Just a quick note to let you all know that I won't have home phone or internet access for a few weeks while we sort out a new internet/phone plan. With any luck I will be back online at home within 3-4 weeks.

We still have our mobile phones if you need to get ahold of either Stuwiggle or I and emails will get through as well (Stuwiggle can check his at work and I will be able to check mine at a mate's place and the library a couple of times a week). Of course all snail mail will be answered as per usual. :)

Have fun guys!
